SLEEP
Much more is going on while sleeping than most expect. There are two different kinds of sleep that I did not know about. I thought that the body was just tired and that is why we went to sleep, but it’s much more than that. The first is REM which stands for rapid eye movement, and the second is NREM which stands for non rapid eye movement. I had no idea that there was such a thing but now that I know it all makes sense. Whenever you are asleep the REM controls the psychological restoration. The REM sleep is also where most of your dreams happen. The NREM controls physical restoration, and this is where all the deep sleep happens. I always thought sleep was just sleep and that was is it. I had no idea that things were controlling different parts of the body while you are asleep.
